Hi,

I've decided to put all of my public tests in one place. Rybka's forum does not allow edits after a post has been made for a while and the forum there is a mess, Chess2u well, is Chess2u, so I'm here. Future tests will be announced here and results will be posted here as time goes by.

ABK Book Bash IV (This will only take place after I think Fauzi has had significant improvements against every other book. This comes after more gauntlets and thousands of games so do not expect it this year.)

So the gauntlet is next. This time we will have Fauzi 3.0 vs RPC's newest book, the "RPC Needle". Afterwards, both sides get to tune their books against each other once again a gauntlet centering around Fauzi 3 begins. After that, both sides tune, and then ABK Book Bash IV. This is of course, a tentative schedule.

So for now I idle, waiting on Fauzi to provide his latest revision. Finally in the ABK book scene we have competition.

A little post to note that this thread isn't dead per say. Because this is simply a compilation of all my tests, it can never 'die'. Fauzi's latest beta book and Saldom's latest beta Needle book are both being tested right now. Results will be shown later.

Settings:
10+10
4670k @ 4.5ghz
512mb Hash
Latest SF available, checked almost daily
Games after 75 moves automatically drawn
Games after 35 moves with 0.00 eval on both sides automatically drawn
Games with both side's eval at +2.0 for one side is automatically adjudicated as a win
Some games are subjected to my manual adjudication before the game ended naturally (Often done when it is obvious to a human that the game is a drawn)

While here RPC Needle did very well don't forget just testing 2 books only tests how well a book is tuned against another book, not nessesarily overall strength. Exhaustive gauntlets and ABk Book Bashes are made to answer those questions.
Please note these 2 book tests are done for testing purposes first (for the book authors to improve their books), not as a substitute for an entire tournament.

A new task is underway. Fauzi gauntlet II. This one will feature most notably, Fauzi 3.1, beta RPC Needle, and Sedat's newest Perfect2014t. 10+10 1gb hash.
CPU downclocked to 4.4 from 4.5ghz.

Bear in mind that gauntlets like these take A LONG TIME to finish so you might not hear back from me in over a month because it takes that long to get the games.

After almost two months and over 2000 games later, Fauzi Gauntlet II is done. Results in first post, of course.

Announcing: Fauzi Gauntlet III. This will be much larger than the second, which already had over 2000 games. This task will take multiple months and will start with Komodo 8 as the base engine. I will also include Bin books.
