i7 3930 vs i7 990

i would like to know the perfromance of i7 3930k as compared to i7 990 at clock speed in chess

i am only wondering because the clock speed of 3930 is 3.2 whereas of 990 is 3.46,but the intel high end benchmarks show that 3930 is still better,so if someone can clearify the performance of these two at clock speed
