Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.

It does not matter what you get bud, you still leave gazillion miles from Yahoo Servers and your ping is always going to be high, I am sorry to be the one telling you this. It is a good topic , the ping depends upon yr distance upon source port and destination port and back depending upon down load speedmatematiko wrote:

As already mentioned, your ping has nothing to do with bandwidgth .. i.e 1mb or 100mb makes no difference here, it is simply latency, mainly distance to server. Other things can affect this of course aswell, if using cable then network congestion or over utilization locally to you on the network could cause your ping to go much higher than it should be.
Only way to reduce ping while staying at the same distance from the server is to have a dedicated fibre optic line to your home, which would cost you thousands of dollars to have installed (if at all posible where you live!?) and this still would not give you the same low ping as someone fairly close to the yahoo server. Looking at your current ping and distance from the server I guess Maybe you would get 100ms ping to yahoo if your lucky on a dedicated fibre optic line to your home bud.
