Dearest friends... I have finally found the time to download Nalimov 3-4-5 egtb (Thank you Dene! for the link bud).
The files were downloaded to a folder C:\endgame
The engine portion of my poly.ini file currently looks like this:
[engine]
Hash=64
Max CPUs=2048
NalimovPath=
NalimovCache=16
NalimovUsage=
Preserve Analysis=False
Saves Hash File=<empty>
Persistent Hash Enabled=false
Persistent Hash File=<empty>
Persistent Hash Play Depth=64
Persistent Hash Size=16
Persistent Hash Merge File=<empty>
Ponder=True
Contempt Play=15
Contempt Analyze=0
Time Buffer =9
Do I need to do anything other than change NalimovPath= to NalimovPath=C:\engine
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

I will set it as this:
[engine]
Hash=64
Max CPUs=2048
NalimovPath=C:\endgame
NalimovCache=16
NalimovUsage=1
Preserve Analysis=False
Saves Hash File=<empty>
Persistent Hash Enabled=false
Persistent Hash File=<empty>
Persistent Hash Play Depth=64
Persistent Hash Size=16
Persistent Hash Merge File=<empty>
Ponder=True
Contempt Play=15
Contempt Analyze=0
Time Buffer =9
*******************************
Additionally, I sugest you check the integrity of your table bases, and to do so you can use
nalimov6manager, check this topic:

Thank you Mate!!! Have a great weekend buddy!
Re: Poly.ini entries after Nalimov egtb download
I scanned all .emd files with MD5...no files are corrupted ....
Question: A screen popped up after the test asking if I wanted to save the files in *.md5 format or *.txt format. I also have the option just to cancel out of the window.
As always, thanks to everyone for your help!!!

Just cancel.
I recommended Malimov6manager instead of checking the checksum of one file at the time.......Oh well

Thx buddy ... Does Malimov6manager basically perform the same functions as MD5 or is it better in some ways?

Re: Poly.ini entries after Nalimov egtb download
Performs the same, but in one single step. Additionally, if eventually you want to start downloading 6 man, it will compare against the "expected files" list, and tell you which EGTBs are complete and which ones are not.
In other words, that's the easiest way to go. I wish I knew about it before taking on the task of downloading and checking one at the time as I did (60 GB now, might go for another 40).
Cheers,

Re: Poly.ini entries after Nalimov egtb download
(Lol 60Gb... might go for 40 more) Anyway, yes the download was a pain but MD5 checked all 276 (give or take) very quickly. I just started the program and selected 'all files'.
The other options sound pretty cool
Thanks bud!!!!!!!!!!
