convert from .ctg to .bin?

Hi,
I get this forum inscription only to reply to the original post.
I made a beginning here.
It is possible to have a ctg to bin format converter.
For now, it take a ctg file and give a berkeley database of every position contained in the ctg file.
The ending consist to compare an all chess position motor and find it in the database.
Contact me if interest with this.

People had talked about this in other forums, it is doable but there are concerns about licenses and copy right violations.

For now the best approach is to become a programmer, do the converter and keep it to yourself. Take a look at this link for more info:

you need a program to compile that things and make a .exe, so it is not the program itself?

Apparently, it works in linux command line. It is a github project. They told me they would make a compilation for Windows soon. It is based on the engine code and Daydreamer Brutus, who read books ctg. In fact, Daydreamer is a github project and has compilacioes for Windows that can be used in Arena and Winboard.
