Polyglot 1.4w22 (25 may 2009)
Workaround added for setting multiple paths to endgame tables bases.
See the readme_init.txt

Get it at:

Cheers,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.

Too much time on their hands? hehe

Anyone know if this latest version is stable?..., I cant be bothered to test them anymore ... since the last 8 or 9 releases sucked.

The 2 best (most stable) versions ive used are:
1.4w4
1.5w

Polyglot 1.4w25 (9 august 2009)

http://www.geenvis.net/polyglot1.4w25.zip

fixed: Illegal moves resulted in polyglot waiting for xboard to declare a timeloss

Polyglot now forfeits with the comment {Polyglot: Illegal engine move [White|Black] } , that should make it to the pgn file.
If Resign is used and the number of ResignMoves is reached,

Polyglot resigns immediate, instead of sending the last engine move together with a resignation.
(untested:) ics: a drawing move(reaching 50 moves rule,3fold,or drawing material) from the engine will be preceded with "offer draw" previously just the move with the result(1/2-1/2) was send.
