Correct me if i am wrong toga121par but i thought any book which is in *.bin format is a polyglot book . I mean i dont know any other way to create a *.bin book apart from polyglot.. The answer to the problem is very simple, let's assume the yahoo lag is not perceptible....so the first moves look very nice and quick....all of a suden moves look to lack of strength or made to late(lag now) which makes them even weaker.....but what is weak is an 1/0 game? I have the same problem when i use fritz+yay( winboard ).see its like fritz --> winboard ---> yahoo table when its your turn to move ,generally this part does not have problem for me.Problem is with the other half .,ie when opponent moves like yahoo table--->winboard--->fritz.I was puzzled like you ...
