Rybka or Houdini in Cluster computing?

Hi

I am interested in running Rybka or Houdini in a cluster of 2 or more computers.
I want to know if that is possible, and if so what do I need to achieve that goal?

If you dont want to answer here, please send me a PM!

Thanks in advance!

Re: Houdini 2 is out

Sorry for this dumb question, but I have searched everywhere to be able to configure houdini 2.0 in arena GUI, but I am unable to find all the specific engine settings! Arena always asks for the engine.ini for that specific engine, where do I find it, or how do I create it? Thanks in advance! I don...

Re: FireBird 1.2 64bit Triplebases & TotalBases

Let me start by clarifying a misconception lots of people has. People thinks that EGTBs (regardless of the type) are only accessed when you have 6 or 5 men left in the board. This is not true. For example, let's say you have 20 to 7 pieces left in the board, the engine starts analyzing and at a cer...

Re: FireBird 1.1

http://i61.servimg.com/u/f61/13/21/03/56/firebi10.gif What is the difference between TotalBases and TripleBases . As far as I can tell TripleBases are much better since they've 2-3-4-5 Bases and the size is 455MB  While TotalBases is a whopping 3.42GB and only has 3-4-5 Bases. :?: Can you pl...

EngineServer 1.1

I stumbled upon this site: http://home.arcor.de/bernhard.wallner/netChess.html the other day! And the program works fine, I am able to connect my laptop to the server (My PC) and play games! AMAZING! However I was thinking, could this be adapted to work on a mobile device? I have windows mobile with...

Re: Slightly confused!?!?

Thanks for the advice, but how about drawn games? Can I improve on those too?
It is very rarely that I loose games, but I very often have drawn games even though I have an OC I7 975!

Thanks

Slightly confused!?!?

I am trying to fine tune a book I made and I tought that this site: http://chessopeningsdatabase.com/ would be a good reference for that! However I am very confused about how that site actually works! Are the moves on top the best moves for each side? If I look at the win percentage, then the highes...

Re: So where are the download links?

Be aware that that Tournament was played using Cyclone 3.4 as engine, not Rybka 3, not even Rybka 2.2 which is free. They were played in a single core Pentium at 3.0 Ghz. The timer for all the games was 4 minutes initial time plus 2 seconds per move increment. Trust those results at your own risk. ...

So where are the download links?

Ok, so I know that I can use this site: http://raitpref.hotbox.ru/ct-poliglot-book.htm to find out what the best book for polygot is! But the BIG question is, where are the download links? I searched this forum, and googled for the "ORO 1.2.bin" book, but I am unable to find it anywhere! :-( Is it p...

Re: Disable autologout in FICS/ICC

E:\Polygot\winboard.exe /zp /ics /icshost freechess.org /icsport=5000 /icshelper=timeseal /keepAlive 30 /fcp="polyglot1.4w.exe polyglot.ini" -zippyGameEnd='say than...

Re: Disable autologout in FICS/ICC

Ok, so the capitalized "A" in /KeepAlive did the trick! But now it´s not starting becouse of this message: timeseal http://freechess.org: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found. Could it be becouse of the new winboard.exe, becouse I did not get that message before?...
